Diversify, Connect, Protect

Protect students, diversify your markets and learn more

As the Education Partner Symposium enters its 3rd year, diversifying your business and markets has become more important than ever. With over 700,000 international students in Canada, direction takes precedence over growth. Therefore, this year’s Symposium will discuss ways and means to diversify student recruitment beyond our traditional markets.

Business is important, but so is protecting students from potential fraud. CAPIC believes it is our collective responsibility to safeguard the interests of students and uphold Canada’s image as a safe and welcoming country.

We have made EPS 2020 a holistic event by giving everyone a fair chance to convey their input. Attendees will include representatives from the government, educational institutions, student associations and industry experts. Having diversity of opinion will help everyone understand the composite market.

Join us at this year’s Symposium and take your knowledge to a whole new level.

Canada hosted over 700,000 international students in 2018

International education contributed over $21 billion to the Canadian economy

170,000 Canadian jobs supported by international education

Welcome to the 2020 Education Partner Symposium!

On behalf of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC), I am pleased to welcome you to the third annual Education Partner Symposium (EPS).

As stakeholders in Canadian education, we can be proud that our education system is among the highest-ranked globally. Benefitting from innovative immigration policies, Canada has become a top destination for international education.

As the number of international students in Canada continues to grow, EPS will help chart the way forward. EPS will be attended by all major international education stakeholders including DLIs, immigration consultants, student associations and the government.

With nearly 3,000 members, CAPIC is well-positioned to positively impact Canadian international education. We stand true to our theme of diversifying international student population for partner DLIs; connecting DLIs and consultants for mutual benefit; and protecting the interests of international students by keeping them away from unauthorized immigration practitioners.

Sincerely,
Dory Jade, C. Dir
CEO, CAPIC
