2021 Education Partner Symposium

Getting International Education Back on Track

There is no question that the past year has been incredibly difficult for students in and outside of Canada. Travel restrictions, pivoting to virtual learning, and changing life goals have forced students to re-evaluate their choices.

Immigration consultants play a valuable role in this process, as they help guide their clients through the recruitment and immigration process. The Education Partner Program (EPP) helps consultants securely recruit students and grow their businesses, while offering DLIs the chance to expand recruitment beyond traditional markets.

The Educational Partner Symposium is an event that allows EPP members and partner DLIs an opportunity to discuss, connect, and explore what lays ahead for international students.

Next level student recruitment. Attendees will include representatives from the government, educational institutions, student associations and industry experts. Join us at this year’s Symposium and take your knowledge of international student recruitment to a whole new level.

Agenda Snapshot

A Message from the Mayor

On behalf of my colleagues on Vancouver City Council and the citizens of Vancouver, I am pleased to welcome the participants at the third edition of the Education Partner Symposium to "Getting International Education Back on Track"hosted by the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants.

As Mayor, I am proud that the City of Vancouver is home to a diverse and multicultural population. Vancouver is a destination city for so many new immigrants, many of whom contribute so vibrantly to the culture and economics of the City. There are many educational, cultural and recreational activities to complement the restaurants, shopping and entertainment opportunities in our multicultural city. I am confident all those attending the conference willgain a renewed sense of achievement in past accomplishments and an optimistic view of the future.

Best wishes for a successful symposium!

Yours truly,
Kennedy Stewart
Mayor of Vancouver
